Jonathan has been a practising lawyer for 25 years. After 10 years working in private practice, specialising in all aspects of IT and intellectual property licensing, Jonathan transferred into the FinTech sector where, amongst other things, he managed the legal process for the infrastructure build and post-live supplier management for the UK Faster Payments scheme.
For the last 13 years, Jonathan has operated as general counsel to a number of clients in the international gambling, construction, manufacturing, retail, engineering, alcoholic beverage, and speciality chemicals sectors.
Jonathan has an astute and enviable knowledge of a vast range of commercial and corporate transactions; a key strength for institutional clients. He has a pervasive understanding of risk and how to develop systems and processes to identify it and, importantly, to implement highly effective mitigation strategies. His knowledge and experience in this respect, together with thousands of hours of legal due diligence and analysis across multiple industries, serve to add a unique dimension in how VeriFI is able to service its clients which has previously been missing in the asset inspection and audit sector and enables VeriFI to add an element of insight which is unparalleled in the marketplace.

Jake is an accomplished CTO with over a decade of experience in software engineering. His expertise lies in web-based CRM systems and omni-channel communication platforms.
His journey began as a full-stack software engineer where he honed his skills in software development, architecture, and design. His passion for building innovative technology solutions led him to specialise in web-based CRM systems and omni-channel communication platforms. This gave him a deep understanding of customer behaviour and enabled him to develop customised solutions that addressed their specific needs.
Jake has held CTO roles in multiple ventures, where he led cross-functional teams to develop and deliver complex projects. He also founded and ran his own successful software company, which he sold out prior to joining VeriFI.
Jake's experience in building large systems handling huge amounts of traffic whilst ensuring maximum uptime has been imperative to VeriFI in addressing the needs of the asset finance and insurance sectors; where reliability and resilience is critical.
His extensive experience in data science, from ML to AI, has given him the skills to build sophisticated tools capable of performing real-time analysis of data at the point of recording.
In his role at VeriFI, Jake leads the technical development of innovative solutions that will transform the asset verification capabilities of our institutional clients. He is passionate about using technology to solve complex problems and is committed to ensuring that VeriFI stays at the leading edge of industry.
